Don't get me wrong, I have full respect for those who have gone to the trouble and expense of getting authentic kit, and would love to eventually achieve that standard as and when funds (and my wife :D ) allow, we all have to start somewhere ! My son who is only 16, is a soviet fanatic, and without being allowed to wear flecktarn would not be playing (and hence neither would I), as all his pocket money goes into russian gear, but if we can borrow better kit on the day, great. We are new to WW2 airsoft and as il duce says want to enter into "the spirit of the thing" and will do our best in terms of authenticity. Looking foward to a good weekend and an enjoyable game !

i have a US m43 jacket, webbing belt, water bottle cover (takes the standard green plastic military water bottle) and a 3 mag thompson pouch all matching if anyone wants to borrow them for an allied look, also got 5 thompson midcaps, pm me if anyone wants them to use but i'll probably bring them on the day to hand out anyway.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any more authentic german gear that my son could borrow for this game, we would be looking for any jacket size 36/38" and trousers 30/32" . We already have webbing and helmet/cap so just the jacket and trousers if any. Thanks in advance.

I have some spare kit but nothing that small I'm afraid. I do have a Heer tunic which is about a 40" chest that may fit though.

I can't make this due to a baby arriving any day and a fully booked Norwich game! But I live 45mins for Peterborough and have family there. I can drop a pile of kit to john and pick it up;)
Let me know as I'm there this sat

That's odd - not a single after-action report about this event, nothing on UKAZ either. Did this event go ahead?
